Dedicated to helping children in need

As a non-profit organization, Salem must supplement childcare payments from various agencies to meet daily operating expenses. We welcome both outright and planned gifts.

Meeting the needs of our children also means developing and upgrading our programs and facilities. Current expansion plans include the construction of a new multi-purpose building to replace the 150-year-old farmhouse which currently is vacant. Administrative staff are split between two buildings on campus. As planned, the new facility will include a Youth Center with a game room and snack bar, eventually managed and operated by kids who are ready to benefit from real-life business and leadership experience.

Individuals, businesses, civic organizations and churches worldwide have helped to make Salem a refuge for children in need.

Donations to help keep Salem programs in operation may be mailed to 605 Salem Drive, Frostburg, MD 21532.
